There are several meetings of interest to San Martin residents concerning local developments:
SMNA Town Hall Meetings are held three to four times a year to provide information on topics that affect our community. We invite the community to ask questions and share what they think about specific issues or policies. These meetings are held at the Lions’ Hall at 12415 Murphy Avenue in San Martin.
San Martin Planning Advisory Committee (SMPAC) reviews applications for land use projects and provides recommendations to the Planning Commission. SMPAC Meetings are open to the public and held at the South County Offices at 80 Highland Avenue in San Martin on the fourth Wednesday of the month, subject to change due to holidays and special meetings. The public can make comments by submitting a Comment Card at the meeting. Visit: https://plandev.sccgov.org/commissions-other-meetings/smpac for schedules and agendas.
The Santa Clara County Planning Commission conducts its public meeting on the Thursdays following the SMPAC meetings. These meetings are held at the Santa Clara County facility at 80 West Hedding Street in San Jose. Visit: https://planning.commission@pln.sccgov.org for schedules and agendas.
For major planning applications in San Martin, the Santa Clara County Planning Department will hold public meetings in or near San Martin for the benefit of San Martin residents to make comments. Details will be published by email to those who have signed up to receive emails from SMNA and on the SMNA website when they are announced by the County.
